Thanks to its unique ambiance and charming layout, Manoir de Fraytet suits groups of up to 24 as well as (smaller) families or groups of friends.
From the moment you arrive, you will be impressed by the splendid ambiance pervading this venue. We know we were. Approach Fraytet, an authentic country château, on a long driveway. The entire site comprises a main building with five bedrooms, two guest accommodations with each two bedrooms and a third guest accommodation with another three bedrooms. Almost all of the bedrooms have their own bathroom. An impressive large swimming pool, a paddling pool, a jacuzzi and a tennis court are also there for you to enjoy.
Your holiday home offers many delightful areas for relaxation: the stylishly designed living areas, dining areas full of ambiance and the cosy kitchen/diner. The open fires, authentic beamed ceilings, beautifully crafted floors and splendid furniture blend together harmoniously. Adjacent to the kitchen of this château you will find a covered terrace, a wonderful place to come together.
Just like the main building, the guest accommodation comprises a living area as well as a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals of the highest standard. Guest accommodation III is located next to the large swimming pool, where you will also find the Jacuzzi, a paddling pool and a spacious sun terrace with loungers and sun umbrellas. This is the obvious place for everyone to meet. Whether you are going for a swim, for a spot of sunbathing or just to catch up on your reading, this is where you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the splendid views to the full. The built-in charcoal barbecue makes for a convivial end to the day.
Manoir de Fraytet is located in the Aquitaine region, not far from Château Biron on the medieval road that connects the fortified villages of Monflanquin, Villeréal and Monpazier. Spend your holidays amidst a landscape of rolling hills, typical of this region, and enjoy the views across fields of lavender, woodlands and meadows. The famous wine areas of Bergerac and Cahors are nearby. We recommend a visit to the quaint fortified towns in the area. These often host evening markets with long tables where everyone can join in and compile their own meal from the many local delicacies on offer.
Also check out the many (sports) activities in the local area. The Dordogne is home to countless walking or cycling trails. Take out a canoe and explore the Dordogne, Vézère and Lot rivers. There are various 9-hole and 18-hole golf courses suitable for beginners without a golf ability licence.
‘The Dordogne is the ideal place to spend your holiday. The slower pace of life, wonderful local cuisine and charming culture make the region a perfect place to stay. With three airports in Limoges, Bergerac and Bordeaux, the Dordogne is within easy reach.
