The charming holiday villa The Farmhouse is a beautifully restored 18th-century farmhouse in a small
hamlet in the Périgord Vert. A romantic holiday home, perfect for people who love nature and good
food. In this rural setting, you can fully enjoy the outdoors, surrounded by natural beauty, tranquillity
and an authentic French ambience. Going for a relaxing swim in the swimming pool, dining in the
open air, cycling and walking along the Voie Verte*, strolling around the local markets and through
charming little towns... There is plenty to do!
Your farmhouse has a warm and comfortable interior, so you can fully relax and experience a nice
feeling of being at home. This is reinforced by a high beamed ceiling, a fireplace and a beautiful floor
in the living room. The home accessories and interesting items were purchased by the owners at
various brocantes and make the romantic French ambience complete. The holiday villa offers
room for 6 people and is ideally suited to couples, friends or families with children. Do you like
delicious food and drinks? Your needs will be fully catered for, thanks to the nice BBQ and the well-
equipped kitchen with Rangemaster stove. You have direct access to one of the terraces. You can all
enjoy a nice meal on the shaded covered terrace located next to the 5 x 10 metre swimming pool. Or
relax and enjoy a nice glass of wine outside, together with your friends or children.
As the holiday home is located in the middle of the Périgord Vert, you are always surrounded by
nature. Listen to the birds in the early morning and be amazed by the sound of the owls in the evening. Experience the sensation of seeing red squirrels or jumping deer and the abundance of butterflies that sit on the flowers on a warm summer's day. The buzzing of bees
and crickets creates a wonderfully lazy feeling on this sunny afternoon. Fancy exploring the region?
There are numerous trips and activities you can choose from. Go for a walk or bike ride along the
Voie Verte* or explore the old villages of St Jean de Cole and St Pardoux La Rivière. Visit the city of
Périgueux and the beautiful Brantôme, also called the Venice of the Dordogne. If you are a true
connoisseur, you will be delighted by the many farmers' markets. Here you can buy all kinds of specialities
such as duck, truffles, pâté from the Périgord and many other amazing fresh products.
* A road for cyclists and pedestrians. Motorised traffic is not allowed there. You will usually find these
great cycling paths along old railways, canals, rivers or along the coast. Voies Vertes are therefore
perfect for cycling trips with the whole family. There are already thousands of miles of Voie Verte in
France, and they are still busy expanding the network.
