We would like to give you the following tips for visiting this cosy town.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Explore the old town<\/strong><br>Upon arrival in P\u00e9rigueux, the impressive <strong>Saint Front Cathedral<\/strong> immediately catches the eye, with its unique domes and as a Unesco World Heritage Site. Stroll through the medieval centre and admire the <strong>Mataguerre Tower<\/strong> and the beautiful half-timbered houses on <strong>Rue Limogeanne<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Roman P\u00e9rigueux<\/strong><br>Visit the Roman section, where you will find the <strong>Vesunna Temple<\/strong> and the modern <strong>Vesunna Museum<\/strong>, which offers a glimpse of life in Roman times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Culinary highlights<\/strong><br><br>Every Wednesday and Saturday, <strong>Place de la Clautre<\/strong> offers a lively market full of local delicacies. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere and taste regional specialities! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the summer months, P\u00e9rigueux comes alive with the <strong>March\u00e9 Gourmand<\/strong>, nowadays held on Thursday evenings. Bring your own cutlery and glass (plastic cutlery is available) and be tempted by local specialities. Enjoy delicious grilled meats, fresh salads, crispy pommes sarlardiennes and flavoursome cheeses, all with a glass of regional wine. Take a seat at the long tables and finish with a delectable dessert.
