Carved out of limestone in the 12th century, this church feels almost otherworldly with its impressive size and mystical atmosphere. The church is a whopping 20 metres high, with imposing pillars reaching to the ceiling and a baptismal font carved from a single block of stone.  <\/p>\n\n<p>During the <strong>Festival des Nuits<\/strong>, the church comes alive. Every summer, usually in July and August, the church is transformed into a stage for a variety of musical performances, ranging from classical music to local folk music.
