Here you and your family can enjoy the peace and quiet in an historic setting. Not only does the atmosphere of this authentic country retreat guarantee a relaxing holiday but also, in particular, the spacious, sloping garden and the private swimming pool with sun terrace.
The holiday home especially owes its charm to the old stonewalls, wooden shutters and characteristic tower. And let us not forget the romantic balcony with wooden balustrade. Can you imagine sitting here while enjoying a relaxing breakfast with fresh croissants and lovely cup of strong French coffee? Or on a slightly warm summer evening with a superb bottle of wine, by candlelight, surrounded by lush greenery and an unprecedented silence while you watch all those twinkling lights in the beautiful night sky in amazement?
Inside your holiday home the historic atmosphere is also present and is reflected in the wooden beam ceiling, the stone walls and the old fireplace with wood burner. The house is built against a hill and has three floors with as many bedrooms, two of which are adjoining and located on the top floor. The third bedroom is located on the ground floor and has its own entrance and a private bathroom, ideal for grandparents or a couple of friends.
The modern kitchen is equipped with all comforts, including a large dining table where you can eat with the whole family or play a game.
The spacious, slightly sloping garden with lawn invites you to relax, either in the sun, or in the shade under one of the beautiful old trees, while the children have fun in the wonderful, private pool.
The surrounding area of this holiday home is also absolutely gorgeous! It is ideally located in the Périgord Noir, with the town of Sarlat as its shining centre. This area has many sights and tourist attractions which are all close by and really worth a visit. For example Lascaux Caves, Château de Castelnaud, Le Village du Bournat and the famous Jardins and Château de Marqueyssac. Less than 4 km away is the picturesque medieval village of Limeuil; also ideal for swimming or canoeing in the Dordogne river.

Nice location of the house, outside dining with view of nature (occasionally deer in the meadow), nice big pool. The house is very authentic (in the style of the castles in the area), so inside it is a bit darker and not entirely practical, but really cosy with a pleasant kitchen.

What a beautiful place, we enjoyed the peace and space around the house. We visited nice villages such as Limeuil, Vezac and the caves of Maxanges. Enough to do in this beautiful area. Delicious food from the charcoal bbq and refreshing dips in the large pool. In short, a great holiday!
