This newly renovated holiday home is in a rural location on the west side of the Dordogne, close to the Charente. The house is light and airy and can accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children. The spacious bedrooms are spread over two floors. This means that the children can sleep and play upstairs while the adults enjoy privacy and peace downstairs.
The ground-floor bedrooms have patio doors giving direct access to the outdoors. Enjoy the fresh air and the first rays of sunshine in the morning. Step out into the garden and slowly wake up with a fragrant cup of Nespresso in hand, taking in the views over the fields as far as the eye can see. Or take a few laps in the pool while everyone else is still asleep or preparing breakfast on the veranda. Both the kitchen and living room have direct access to the veranda. A great place to enjoy a meal together or play games!
The trees in the garden around the house provide cool shade on hot summer days. Several areas have been specially designed to provide a quiet spot for guests to relax and read or have a drink or a barbecue. Better yet, make plans for your next trip to Périgueux, the capital of the Dordogne, with its charming streets, shops and terraces. Magnificent castles, caves, markets and outdoor activities are also within easy reach of this gîte.
