An ultra-charming 9 person gîte with private heated swimming pool in a wooded area of the South Dordogne. This peaceful oasis is a stone's throw from the Château de Biron and close to the medieval bastide towns of Monpazier and Villeréal. These are officially "the most beautiful villages in France!"
Situated alongside a footpath on the edge of the forest, the Maison de Biron is an idyllic gîte, ideal for nature and culture lovers. Only the sound of birds breaks the silence of this beautiful place. The rustic, country-style décor, the beamed ceilings and the beautiful wooden floors on the first floor reflect the natural atmosphere that surrounds the house. The open fireplace, comfortable sofa and spacious dining room are perfect for spending time with family or friends. Outside there is plenty to keep the children entertained with a swing, table tennis, lawn for games and of course the large private heated pool. So the kids can have a great time while you enjoy a refreshing drink on the covered terrace and watch the preparations for the communal barbecue.
The area is perfect for taking trips and activities such as canoeing, climbing, swimming, hiking, visiting castles or exploring and shopping in the many charming villages the area has to offer. Biron and the surrounding area organise a range of summer activities for young and old, including night markets, treasure hunts and theatre visits to the chateau. In addition, explore the many excellent restaurants and vineyards of the Périgord!

In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the following charges shall apply:
Cancellation done: over 42 days prior: 30% of the total rental fee (security deposit to be returned)
Cancellation done: 29-42 days inclusive prior: 50% of the total rental fee (security deposit to be returned)
Cancellation done: 0-28 days inclusive prior: 100% of the total rental fee (security deposit to be returned)
