This holiday home, with a swimming pool and sauna, is a wonderful family Chateau that invites adults and children to experience an exciting adventure. Plenty of space and pleasure, combined with total privacy and relaxation, make this country Chateau an ideal holiday destination.
The 27 acres of adventure filled grounds await at the end of a long driveway. A charming river near the Chateau and the fascinating wine cellar, that long ago served as a prison, are extraordinarily appealing, especially for children.
From the raised terrace, with its generous selection of garden furniture, you get a beautiful view of the woods, meadows and the river below. There is an orangery between the kitchen and the terrace. This is a practical and wonderful space whatever the weather and temperature. The view from here is also fantastic and because it looks out on the swimming pool and sauna, you can watch the children play while you relax and unwind. Two sides of the orangery can be opened, so you can comfortably barbecue here.
The house is equipped with all conveniences and offers a lot of opportunity for entertainment and pleasure. Parents and children can enjoy the Play Station (with plenty of games), a karaoke set (with accompanying CDs), a separate video room (with a good selection of children's DVDs), a painter's easel and much more. You can even make music together in the attic, which has an electric keyboard, an electric guitar and a drum set!
No one will be bored outside either. Play a pleasant game of boules together, or table tennis or football while the children enjoy themselves on the trampoline or swing. Or discover the exciting path to the river below with its many beautiful spots and vistas; this is not only a great walk for children, but also for nature lovers and romantics.

Translated from Dutch - July We have had a wonderful week at Chateau la Rhue. Attractive, in a beautiful setting with excellent facilities and a great pool.
Chateau La Rhue is a great house for a family holiday. The play room was a great hit. Some of the upkeep is a little tired, but overall we had a good stay.
