Drive through the gate and up the seemingly endless driveway to the stately mansion that looms before you - your home for the foreseeable future, nestled in a 10-hectare park, surrounded by woods and with magnificent views. Welcome to this oasis of peace!
The villa has recently been completely renovated with incredible attention to detail. It is the epitome of the perfect marriage between authenticity, modernity, clarity and refinement. The materials used create a warm atmosphere combined with the historic charm of the property. The carefully selected interior completes the picture beautifully and underlines the high quality of the house.
Both inside and out, Domaine de Peycibeau leaves nothing to be desired. With a living area of 600m2, you have six bedrooms with lovely beds, beautiful floors, en-suite luxury bathrooms and air conditioning. The charming lounge has an impressive mural, comfortable seating and a library. There is also a spacious study if you wish to conduct business from there. Do you enjoy cooking and eating? There are plenty of opportunities to prepare delicious meals both indoors and out. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, and the outdoor kitchen is also well equipped, including a dishwasher. The outdoor kitchen and BBQ are part of the pool house. Here you will find a large covered terrace with dining table and spacious seating area – large enough for the whole family, including the grandparents or a group of friends who want to celebrate an anniversary or get together on holiday in the Dordogne.
Relaxation and entertainment are also provided. There is a 13-metre heated swimming pool, a gym and a table tennis table. The sun loungers on the pool terrace invite you to relax and enjoy the sun, the peace, the space, the views... In short, a winning combination for a successful stay. Although close to all amenities (including Sarlat la Canéda) or to various activities (castles, canoeing, cycling, zoo...), you will quickly be absorbed by the tranquillity and the immensity of the place while lounging by the swimming pool, going for a little jog in the gym or playing with the children thanks to the equipment available (trampoline, swing, games). And if you are not exhausted in the evening, you can almost see a few deer crossing the property at nightfall while you are having dinner or a cocktail in the pool house. We really had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to both the quiet and the large family. A special mention for the kindness and efficiency of the reception, cleaning and pool maintenance staff.

The estate is exceptional and the environment around the house is breathtaking. The house is very spacious and comfortable with everything you need, right down to the pizzas in the wood-fired oven! We often leave the place mainly to go shopping, play tennis, walk along the Dordogne, or go cycling and canoeing. If you dare to leave this heavenly place, you will soon come across the most beautiful villages along the Dordogne, and a multitude of tourist sites and activities for young and old. The pool house with its breathtaking view is a particularly relaxing and rewarding place to be with your family. Being an early riser I enjoy opening the shutters, watching the deer and the mist rising from the Dordogne in the distance... magic. The most beautiful place we have ever experienced.
