This house by the pond is a hidden treasure: for lovers of fish and shellfish, the charming holiday home Maison d'Etang is a real gem! Situated in a very romantic spot, you can enjoy complete privacy, plenty of peace and quiet and, above all, your own private fish pond. At a whopping 3,000 m2, the lake offers a habitat for various species of carp and even American crayfish! Thus, this place guarantees culinary delights and pure relaxation in the heart of the Dordogne.
Your holiday villa is located on a hill in a small hamlet with about eleven other houses, half of which are permanently inhabited. Until recently, your holiday home was also used as a residence. This season, it will be rented out for the first time so that guests can also experience the (culinary) highlights of the Périgord Vert.
A small road leads up to the 6,500 m2 grounds of your well-hidden holiday home. A steel gate ensures your privacy and provides access to your holiday home. The house, surrounded by nature, has been built with natural materials such as wood, stone and marble. It is a superb property where everything is just right: the very high ceilings, ancient wooden beams, the playful differences in height, lots of light and a view over the pond characterise the atmosphere of the house and connect the inside with the outside. The reception/lounge area is a lovely central space where everyone can relax and play. A few wooden steps lead to the living room with a wood-burning stove and a spacious kitchen. The modern kitchen is fully equipped.
Adjacent to the living room, the sun-filled terrace - like the elevated outdoor lounge area - overlooks the garden and the romantic pond. Enjoy a delicious meal or a refreshing drink together while watching the children play in the brand-new heated swimming pool. And don’t forget to make plans for the next day: the area offers plenty of opportunities for wonderful trips for the whole family. You can visit various castles and caves, discover charming medieval towns and enjoy the delicacies of the Périgord at various markets.

Modern living room (50 m2) with woodburning stove and spacious living kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. This room opens onto the sunny terrace with dining facilities, a barbecue and view over the garden with a pond.

In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the following charges shall apply:
Cancellation done: over 42 days prior: 30% of the total rental fee (security deposit to be returned)
Cancellation done: 29-42 days inclusive prior: 50% of the total rental fee (security deposit to be returned)
Cancellation done: 0-28 days inclusive prior: 100% of the total rental fee (security deposit to be returned)
