3. What information do we gather
To receive our newsletter, we store your first name, last name and email address. You have shared this information with us. At all times you can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter, or contact us per email.
To be able to book a property, we store the following information: first name, last name, address, phone number, IBAN, names and ages of the other people in your reservation. This information is needed to establish a rental agreement.
4. What happens with the data
Your information is stored on a secure (SSL) server in our booking system.
We use your information to create a booking. This information is shared with the owner of the house you have rented. The IBAN number is shared with the house owner to enable him/her to refund the security deposit. The owner is also informed about the other people in your group that you have mentioned during your booking request. We use your email address to inform you about the progress of your booking, to send you possible payment reminders, to confirm payments, to send you an itinerary and to request to review the property. Finally we use your email address to inform you about possible interesting information, newsletter or last minutes offers. We share the home owners information with you. That is necessary to establish a rental agreement. We store your data until the moment you no longer wish to be informed.
5. Sharing your data
Your personal information is only being shared with the owner of the property that you have rented. Information about your website visit could be gathered by Google Analytics and used as explained in their privacy terms.
6. Using Cookies and/or behavioral advertising
We do not use non-essential cookies, nor do we collect data to enable automatic decision making or to profile our visitors. We use technical cookies to enable functionality on our website and we use analytical cookies for Google Analytics and other statistical services.
7. Securing your data
Your personal data is safe with us and is not being shared with others, except the house owner. It is stored on a secure (SSL) web server. It is secured against abuse, loss, unauthorized access and unauthorized editing.
