Roumaillac - La Grange
Near the medieval village of Issigeac in the Périgord Pourpre, you'll find this charming holiday home, with its large swimming pool and a view over the Monmarvès, at the end of a quiet road. This holiday home is part of the Roumaillac estate, an oasis of extreme peace where you can enjoy the wealth of nature and wildlife.
The estate is just 18km from Bergerac airport, in a two hectare wooded park, and has three holiday homes: La Metairie (7-9 people), La Grange and La Bergerie (both for 4 people). The former farm, the barn and sheepfold are incredibly beautifully restored. The materials used and the high quality finish provide a luxurious but authentic look. The tasteful and lovingly furnished holiday homes have all necessary comforts. Each gîte offers privacy and has a private terrace. You can rent these holiday homes separately or together, which offers a living space of 600m2 for groups of up to 17 people.
La Grange consists of a self contained gite, ‘le logement’ and a spacious communal room.Le logement, decorated in a young, modern style, consists of an open plan kitchen/living area, illuminated by glass doors opening onto the garden. On the first floor, in the eaves of the Mansard roof, two twin bedrooms and a bathroom await you.
The communal room provides an area where everyone can come together around a generous open fire, to dine, drink an aperitif, play table football or just enjoy an evening in good company. An office area with WIFI Internet access is also available.
The communal salt water swimming pool is a heated infinity pool with a beautiful view of the lake. Near the pool, there's a sun terrace, the pool house with a kitchenette and fridge, and a covered terrace with a large dining table and barbecue. Be sure to make use of this delightful place where you can eat together and enjoy the sunshine and tranquility.
Nearby, you'll find plenty of opportunities to play golf, ride horses, play tennis, hike, and canoe and kayak on the Dordogne and Vézère rivers. Visit the markets and many cultural treasures of the Perigord, such as the castles, fortified cities and towns, caves and prehistoric sites.

This property lies in the Périgord Pourpre (purple); named after the vineyards around Bergerac. It has some exceptional attractions such as the old bastide towns. We have visited most of the Dordogne tips together with our children.
