Explore the old town
Upon arrival in Périgueux, the impressive Saint Front Cathedral immediately catches the eye, with its unique domes and as a Unesco World Heritage Site. Stroll through the medieval centre and admire the Mataguerre Tower and the beautiful half-timbered houses on Rue Limogeanne.

Roman Périgueux
Visit the Roman section, where you will find the Vesunna Temple and the modern Vesunna Museum, which offers a glimpse of life in Roman times.

Culinary highlights

Every Wednesday and Saturday, Place de la Clautre offers a lively market full of local delicacies. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere and taste regional specialities!

During the summer months, Périgueux comes alive with the Marché Gourmand (every Wednesday evening).
