Le Soulelial

The authentic country house has been renovated with an eye for detail, preserving the for this region so characteristic ‘pierre apparente’ or visible stones. The beautiful sheltered romantic courtyard with authentic long dining table is a wonderful place. You imagine yourself in a medieval town in the shadow of two large linden trees.

The comfortable interior of the vacation home combines traditional and modern elements. You have access to two large sitting rooms, each with an open fireplace where you can read a good book, drink a glass of wine and socialize in peace. The simple but cozy kitchen is also a place that invites to get together.

The 1.5 hectare garden offers plenty of privacy. The spacious pool of 7x14m with sun terrace and covered dining area is located in the garden. The children will also have fun on the football/badminton playing field, table tennis table and petanque court. This makes the vacation home ideal for families with children, nature lovers, sports people and gastronomes looking for a luxury vacation home in a quiet location yet close to the rivers, caves and other attractions of the Dordogne.

Two romantic bedrooms with private entrance can be rented separately
In 2020, two romantic sleeping rooms have been created in the old bread oven located opposite the house. They each have a private bathroom. These “guest rooms” are ideal if, for example, you are visiting a friendly couple who would like their own privacy. A modest fee is charged for this upgrade. The total capacity for Le Soulelial remains a maximum of 8 people, but you can make a more flexible arrangement with these two guest rooms.
