This luxurious and romantic holiday home is idyllically situated on a hill and offers both comfort and stylish decor. You enter your own 6.5 hectare estate through the centuries-old gate into an oasis of peace and beauty. The view of the valley and the surrounding vineyards is truly stunning. The private heated swimming pool, the covered outdoor kitchen and the many sport and game possibilities make your holiday in Poitou-Charentes complete.
The holiday home is renovated with original materials and with an eye for detail. This ensures that it has a fantastic feel to it and that you will immediately feel at home here. The open fire, stone floors and wood beam ceilings offer a warm, country ambience. The home is ideal for multiple families as the sleeping areas are not all connected to each other and each area has absolute privacy. The generously equipped, luxury kitchen area has a long dining table and is a great place for everybody to come together. French doors lead to the romantic courtyard with a small table and chairs and a reading area. A door on the other side of the kitchen provides access to the wonderful large garden, where there's a large swimming pool with a covered terrace and an outdoor kitchen. You can relax in complete peace while you enjoy a snack and a drink and, of course, enjoy the beautiful view.
The landscape around this holiday home is characterised by the vineyards, meadows and woods in the locality of Angoulême. From the holiday home you're able to walk or cycle through meadows and woods or to the river Charente. Because of the great transportation links, this is also the ideal place to easily discover the sights and attractions of the Charente region and along the coast. The cities of Périgeux and Bordeaux are also well worth a visit.

Our travel tip for lovers of brandy: take a trip to the nearby ancient town of Cognac. You can enjoy yourself there to your heart's content with the Cognac tour at the Hennessy or Remy Martin distillery.

- Additional cost for 13 or 14 persons: € 200 per person
- Tourist tax: € 2,30 per adult per night. This will be deducted from the deposit.
In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the following charges shall apply:
Cancellation done: over 42 days prior: 30% of the total rental fee (security deposit to be returned)
Cancellation done: 29-42 days inclusive prior: 50% of the total rental fee (security deposit to be returned)

This property lies in the Charente, the neighbour of the Dordogne. The Charente river flows through this area, known for its cognac. We have visited most of the Charente tips together with our children.
