This characterful holiday home is situated on the Domaine du Tilleul in the heart of the Dordogne. La Grande Maison is one of two country houses placed on both sides of a large courtyard, that you can hire together or individually. Enjoy the large swimming pool with sun terrace, the jacuzzi, and the sauna. A superb view, tranquillity, and space make your relaxing holiday in the Dordogne complete!
The owners of the estate have stylishly renovated this charming holiday home. They have used beautiful materials while maintaining the authentic ambience so that you immediately feel at home in La Grande Maison. The Weber barbeque and the Boretti stove (with large gas oven) offer endless culinary possibilities for enthusiastic cooks.
Domaine du Tilleul is located in Le Bugue and is a perfect starting point to discover the Périgord Noir. Visit the many caves with prehistoric rock paintings and be surprised by the charm of the medieval communes like Les Eyzies and Montignac. The Dordogne and Vézère rivers are great places to swim and fish, or to enjoy picnics on the riverbanks.

Cosy kitchen with Boretti stove with a large gas oven. Very well equipped; ideal for an enthusiastic cook.Living area with a large dining table and a seating area around the wood stove.
Spiral staircase to the mezzanine. This can be used as a reading area or as an extra bedroom. A good quality sofa bed is situated here.
Laundry room with a sink, washing machine, and dryer.
Separate toilet.
The 3 bedrooms are reached via a wooden staircase.
Bedroom 1: Two single beds + child's cot and an ensuite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds + pull out bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.
Bedroom 3: Double bed (1.60 x 2.00m) and ensuite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.
Via the kitchen or an outside staircase, you can reach the covered terrace with a dining table and chairs, sun loungers and a barbeque.

What a wonderful houses! We used both 'La Grande Maison' and the smaller house. With 8 adults and 5 (small) children we really enjoyed this beautiful accommodation! In 2 years we will be here again, is already booked (next year - 2020 - was already fully occupied during the school holidays). Super location, nice place Le Bugue, but especially the pool and the 'playground' were favorite with everyone.
