A somewhat smaller-scale holiday home in a romantic setting amongst tall trees, surrounded by greenery... welcome to Le Brugal. We found this charming French holiday home hidden in the rolling countryside of the Dordogne. It’s suitable for 4-5 people and with a 6,000 m² garden and heated swimming pool it’s the perfect setting for a relaxing family holiday.
After driving through the naturally formed gateway of trees and shrubs, you immediately enter your own private paradise. It’s a true haven: green, sheltered and quiet. You can hear the birds chirping and the wind rustling the trees. A wonderful peace surrounds you - and so the holiday begins.
The house looks inviting and is beautifully painted. Traditional elements such as the rustic turret, the overhanging roof with terracotta tiles, the lanterns, the shutters and the patio doors, all create a special atmosphere. Inside you can also see that the owners have lovingly renovated the house. The composition and colours of the interior are calm and form a harmonious design. The rural kitchen with its round dining table and the connected sitting room, form the heart of the house. Spend time cooking in the cosy kitchen, dining together at the table, or enjoying the day with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. You could even surprise the rest of the family in the morning with a delicious breakfast prepared in the kitchen of the pool house. While you enjoy your croissant and a coffee on the covered terrace, the children will already be raring to dive into the swimming pool or to run across the rolling lawn and play in the bushes.
The comfortable sun loungers on the sun terrace invite you to relax with a good book or to make plans for the coming days. The region offers numerous attractions, sights, caves, farmers' markets and medieval villages and towns for fun trips. Activities such as canoeing, cycling, hiking, fishing and swimming in one of the reservoirs in this area are also not to be missed. And all within an hour's drive from Bergerac airport.

This is the 2nd year we have rented Le Brugal. Now for 2 weeks and again absolutely top. The pool has been renovated and there are other lounge sets at the front of the house and under the canopy by the pool. Furthermore, the photos give an excellent idea of what to expect from Le Brugal.

New in the top 3 of our holiday homes. Great value for money. Heated pool, well-kept garden with lots of privacy. Plenty of sun and shade. Air conditioning in all rooms is of course also nice. Furnishing is neat and practical. The photos on the website are truthful. The refund of the deposit within 1 day of departure indicates the owner cares about his house and his tenants. We would love to come back.
