You'll find this beautiful estate at the end of a road, close to the medieval village of Issigeac in the Périgord Pourpre in the Dorgodne. The property has three luxurious and charming holiday homes with a large swimming pool and a view over the Lake Monmarvès. An oasis of peace, where you'll thoroughly enjoy the wealth of nature and wildlife.
The estate is just 18km from Bergerac airport, in a two hectare wooded park, and has three holiday homes: La Metairie (7-9 people), La Grange and La Bergerie (both for 4 people). The former farm, the barn and the sheepfold are incredibly beautifully restored. The materials used and the high quality finish provide a luxurious but authentic look. The tastefully and lovingly furnished holiday homes have all the necessary comforts. Each gîte offers complete privacy and has a private terrace. You can rent these holiday homes separately or together, which offers a living space of 600m2 for groups of up to 17 people.
A fantastic communal space has been created in the old barn. Whether you drink a glass of wine next to the open fire at night, eat a large dinner, or want to play with the kids, this space offers relaxation and fun for both the young and the old. In the daytime, it's a delightfully cool place to browse the web or read a book in peace. You can access this space from the farmyard or directly from 'La Grange'.
The sun terrace and the heated, salt water infinity pool let you completely unwind. The pool house, with a kitchenette and a fridge, and the covered terrace, with a large dining table and barbecue, are also found here. A lovely place to relax together, eat, and to enjoy the sun and the peace and quiet.
Sports-minded guests are delighted with the various golf courses that are less than an hour away. You can also play tennis, hike, and go horse riding nearby and go canoeing and kayaking on the rivers of the Dordogne and the Vézère.
Visit the many cultural treasures of the Perigord, such as the castles, fortified cities and towns, caves and prehistoric sites. Don't forget to try the exceedingly delicious local delicacies and Bergerac wines. The market in Issigeac on Sunday morning will surprise you with the variety and quality of its produce.

We had a very special week and enjoyed the accommodation and everything around it. Everything that was promised on the website was more than fulfilled. Three houses with four families (13 people) was more than enough to do everything we wanted. The space, the peace, it was all super and not to forget the pool, great. The reception was fine. Valerie had provided a large fruit basket and the fridge was filled with everything we might need on the first day, including red and white wine. There were three Nespresso machines and every day Valerie replenished the cups, cleaned the houses and took care of the beds. unprecedented luxury!!!! We were all very pleased with our stay at Roumaillac. Thanks Zsuzsi and Floris for your advice and help in changing our booking from 2020 to 2021; well done!
