On a quiet country road you will find this charming holiday home with indoor pool. It is situated on 5 hectares of meadows and woods overlooking the Dordogne valley. Here you can create your own oasis of peace and relaxation. This house has been owned by a friendly English family for many years.
Its location is truly unique and close to the beautiful Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne. You will be staying just a few hundred meters from the Dordogne river and all the main highlights of this beautiful part of France are nearby. You will enjoy all the space and privacy and, of course, swimming in the large swimming pool (that can be used whatever the weather). It isn’t immediately obvious what the benefit of a covered swimming pool is in the summer, but when you’re there, the benefits are clear. You have direct access to the outside via the sliding doors so that you can enjoy the sun on the terrace and the sun loungers. You do not feel as if you’re closed off in an indoor pool.
The holiday home’s decor provides a warm, homely feel. The layout is particularly suitable for two families because each family can sleep on a separate floor. The many windows and French doors provide for lots of natural light. In the fully equipped kitchen, you can cook to your heart’s content. You can also make use of the professional snooker table, the large selection of books on the bookcase, the many games and the table tennis table. Even the children’s pool toys are provided.
The large number of tourist attractions in the locality makes this holiday home the ideal base to discover the Dordogne. This province of France, with its many rivers, castles and prehistoric caves, is one of overwhelming beauty. Enjoy the nature and visit one of the many antique markets. The Périgord is, amongst other things, famous for its outstanding restaurants and offers a great opportunity to enjoy the local French cuisine.
