The house itself is beautifully decorated and felt truly relaxing to stay in. The eye for detail is spot on. We stayed in the panelled bedroom which felt really luxurious. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and we had the best nights sleep during our time there. We went with our six children who all echoed the same. They all loved their rooms too.
There are numerous outdoor areas to sit with comfy seating You’re surrounded by nature and can’t see any neighbours, so it truly feels like your own private oasis. The BBQ / outdoor eating area is a perfect space for long relaxed lunches and dinners.
The pool was spectacular. There’s beautiful views across the trees during the day, and at night time the star gazing was jaw dropping. We’ve never seen such a clear sky or so many stars. We all lay on the sun loungers staring at them, chatting and laughing. Will be cherished memories for us all. The pool itself is huge and a perfect temperature. Being heated everyone jumped straight in without the usual shrieks! It’s blissful!
The upstairs mezzanine / hall is really big and has a pool table and more sofas. The kids loved hanging out there too, which also gave us some welcome peace and quiet around the pool at times 😁
The coffee machine, TV and American fridge freezer also made it feel a relaxing and luxurious break.
The area has so much to do. We absolutely loved the night market in the local village. We also canoed down the Vézère river from Montignac which was so fun. We took a picnic with us and ate on a river beach.
It’s the perfect house to stay at. We will be back!
