The Aquarium du PĂ©rigord Noir, located in Le Bugue, is Europe’s largest private freshwater aquarium. With an area of more than 4,000 m², 70 tanks and no fewer than 6,000 animals, including an impressive collection of sturgeons, this aquarium offers a unique view of the flora and fauna of rivers, lakes and ponds. In the open-air ponds, visitors can discover the fascinating water world all year round.

An adventure in the Alligator Park
Next to the aquarium is the exciting Alligator Park, a 2,000 m² area where adventurer Jo McClack takes you on an unforgettable journey. Here you will meet alligators, albino alligators, anacondas, iguanas and caimans. For a special experience, you can even feed baby alligators under the guidance of experts.

This popular outing attracts visitors of all ages and offers a fascinating insight into underwater life. Besides a rich collection of freshwater and saltwater fish, you will also find reptiles and other aquatic animals.
