WELCOME TO
Le Beau Manoir
Welcome to an extraordinary place in the Dordogne: Le Beau Manoir holiday villa overlooks the hilly landscape of the Dordogne and one of the most beautiful villages in France! This stately country house exudes the grandeur of the past while offering its guests the luxury of today.
This traditional manor is located on the edge of the bastide town of Monflanquin and is surrounded by a large open garden that offers picturesque views of the countryside and sunflower fields. Following a delicate and thorough restoration, the country house has been given a bright and stylish interior, combined with the highest standard of comfort. Calm colours and pleasant textures offer you a warm welcome.
This holiday home is suitable for 12 people and has many wonderful areas to relax in, such as the harmoniously decorated sitting room, the attractive dining room and of course the spacious bedrooms. The high-quality, fully equipped kitchen and contemporary bathrooms leave nothing to be desired. A pool table, Wi-Fi and a PlayStation provide plenty of indoor entertainment for young and old.
Those who love getting outdoors and sunbathing will enjoy the lovely sun loungers on the terrace around the large private swimming pool. Of course, this is a place where everyone can get together, and regardless of whether you go in for swimming, sunbathing or reading, you can fully enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful views! The covered veranda with pool house, complete summer kitchen and BBQ is ideal for a family dinner in the open air. While you prepare the snacks and salads, the grill master(s) can fire up the charcoal. In the meantime, the children will have the freedom to run about: hide in the bushes, dive in the pool, play tag on the large lawn, play football or table tennis… they won’t believe their luck!
Le Beau Manoir is the perfect base for enjoying all the beauty that the Dordogne has to offer. You can easily walk to picturesque Monflanquin in 20 minutes along the quiet roads. This is an old bastide town with winding streets, a beautiful town square and fantastic views. You will find all amenities here, including many traditional restaurants and cafes, a large supermarket, bakeries and an English Food Shop for those who love an English breakfast. You can buy the tastiest fresh ingredients from the region at the weekly traditional market, which is highly recommended!
The Dordogne is one of the most beautiful and one of the most popular regions in France due to its beautiful landscapes interspersed with medieval fortified towns and fairytale castles. It is also a great region for food lovers: local specialities such as goose and duck, walnuts, strawberries, wines and many mushroom varieties, including truffles, are abundant. Also discover the various excellent restaurants, the many vineyards with wine tastings and the town of Bergerac, all of which can be reached by car in less than an hour. A great way to explore the vineyards is to follow the signposted Route des Vins, where you will be welcomed by the growers and encouraged to taste their wines along the route.

What a fantastic holiday home! Exactly like the pictures! Plenty of space and what a view! Lovely pool! It exceeded our expectations! The house was neatly clean, with fine, generous beds. The kitchen was equipped with every luxury and there was more than enough of all necessities. Also the contact with Zsuzsi and Floris Stork was very pleasant, very customer friendly. Everywhere in and around the house the attention and care to make guests feel comfortable and we - parents with children and grandchildren - have felt very privileged to stay in this beautiful house for a week!

We arrived this afternoon and what a pleasant surprise this house is, with everything on it, in it and around it! We feel like royal guests and are going to enjoy this enormously in the coming week. Everything looks so clean and tidy. Thank you very much. I wanted to say this on behalf of the other 10 very happy family members.
OUR TIPS FOR THE AREA
Lot-et-Garonne
This property is located in the Lot-et-Garonne; just south of the Dordogne. The landscape is beautiful with gently rolling hills, cypresses, vineyards, fruit trees and sunflower fields. The name of the department says it all: not only the Garonne flows through the department, but also the beautiful Lot, a lovely river for canoeing, swimming or picnicking on one of the beaches along the bank. There are more than 400 marked cycle and hiking trails and during the summer you can go to the famous "marchés gourmand"; evening markets where the products offered by the local producers in their market stalls are eaten at long tables. This is also the region where the idea of the popular food markets comes from.
