Le Prunier

Le Prunier owes its name to the surrounding plum trees and is a beautifully restored and wonderfully secluded gîte, set in the picturesque landscape of the Dordogne. This rustic yet cosy property with a private pool is located on top of a hill and makes the perfect holiday setting with its beautiful views. With authentic villages and amenities close by, Le Prunier is ideal for a relaxing holiday with the whole family!

A number of winding roads lead you to your destination, through fields and small hamlets, until the impressive gîte comes into view at the end of a long, straight country road. Even from a distance, you can see that the house has been carefully restored with great care, once inside, this feeling is confirmed. This is a luxurious holiday home, featuring high-quality materials and attractive décor in every room. The house is spread across two floors, with the living room, dining area and kitchen sharing the same bright open space while preserving their individual atmosphere. The sitting area has a cosy wood-burning stove and a patio door leading to a raised seating area alongside the house. The patio doors in the kitchen also provide direct access outside. The top floor can be reached from the kitchen via an open staircase. Here, you will find two of the three bedrooms, which share a modern bathroom. The master bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom. All rooms exude a peaceful atmosphere thanks to their warm colours, original features, such as wooden beams, and of course, the breath-taking view over the vast natural landscape!

At the back of the property, you will find a cosy covered dining area with a barbecue and lounge set for making the most of the long summer days. The beautiful pool has a raised stone edge and is perfect for cooling off, playing about or a enjoying a nice swim, and of course, there are sun loungers and outdoor sofas for complete relaxation.

Le Prunier is located about a 5-minute drive from Lusignac, a pretty village with a small restaurant. The market village of Verteillac is around ten minutes' drive away and the surrounding countryside is well worth exploring.
