Classic château with modern comfort
Inside, you will find high ceilings, wooden floors, wood panelling and inviting reception rooms. The spacious dining room is perfect for long dinners, while the large kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. The château has five generous bedrooms, each with its own bathroom or shower room and air conditioning. One of the suites also features a large bathroom with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower, a dressing room and a separate study.
Private pool and outdoor living
The garden features a heated 10 × 5 metre saltwater pool. Around the château and pool are several terraces, a covered lounge area and inviting spaces for outdoor dining. The pool house has a shower, WC and changing room. Mature trees, generous lawns and the surrounding vineyards give the estate its peaceful, distinctive character.
Stay on a working wine estate
Château de Bel Air forms part of a working wine estate within the AOP Lalande-de-Pomerol. Guests can visit the estate’s wine cellar free of charge on request, in either French or English. There is no regular wine tourism with daily visitors or tastings. Work may, however, take place in the vineyards during the day, particularly around harvest time – part of the experience of staying on a genuine wine estate.
Pomerol and Saint-Émilion within easy reach
The château is ideally located for exploring the renowned Bordeaux wine region. Pomerol is just nearby, while Saint-Émilion is also within easy reach. Bordeaux is approximately 45 km away. Libourne TGV station is just 6 km from the château, while Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is approximately 45 km away.
