This charming completely renovated farmhouse is a delightful holiday home in the Dordogne! Here you'll find absolute privacy and peace. The heated private swimming pool and sun loungers on the sun terrace will guarantee you pure relaxation. Entertainment can be found easily without the need to travel very far, as there are many nice tourist places nearby.
On arrival, you'll be struck by the typical rural French feel of this holiday home. The beautiful stone walls and the large fireplace strengthen the authentic feel. The owners renovated the old house with love and eye for detail. A large table, chairs and a barbeque on the terrace are the perfect place for delicious meals in a relaxed atmosphere. The children will have a great time in the playground and with the table tennis table. The heated swimming pool has Roman steps and an alarm system. There are outside flood lights.
This holiday home will have special appeal to those seeking peace and quiet in natural surroundings. It is close to St. Jean de Côle; classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Brantôme, the Venice of the Dordogne, is also highly recommended. Here you can enjoy the wonderful restaurants, terraces, outdoor cafes, and delicious local products from the market.

Our food tip: visit the large regional, but still very authentic, farmers market in the nearby village of Thiviers on a Saturday morning. It has a great atmosphere and fantastic French products!

What a wonderful house! When you arrive it really has the wow factor. And what that drive concerns: from the D707 it is still a small 2 km. Which is just an advantage, because it is really so free. Lots of peace, tranquility and privacy. The interior is cosy and very comfortable. All rooms are spacious. And outside it is absolutely wonderful. A large (heated!) swimming pool and a view of the meadow with cows and behind that the forest. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from Frédéric and Elora, the beds made, the towel package (including bath towels) and the full basket with all kinds of goodies. Really a place to come back for!
